Webinar: Results of the R&D Project "Leader Approach - Governance Models and their Impact on Territories"
On June 4th, at 6:00 PM WEST, a webinar titled "Results of the R&D Project 'Leader Approach - Governance Models and their Impact on Territories'" will take place. This event is part of the Leader Approach Project, which involved the participation of faculty members Ana Paula Oliveira, Carlos Saramago, Elizete Jardim, and Madalena Corte-Real. The Leader Approach Project aims to diagnose and analyze methodologies, tools, and governance models used over more than three decades in the allocation of public funds for the integrated development of rural territories. It seeks to analyze the past and envision the future, guided by national strategic policies. Its main objectives are to: Evaluate the impact of rural development policies framed within the LEADER (Liaison Entre Actions de Développement de l'Économie Rurale - Links between actions for the development of the rural economy) program on rural territories; Create a conceptual model for replication.
This project is part of the UNESCO Chair "The City that Educates and Transforms," specifically within Working Group IV. It aligns with the objective of "Research and reflection on practices based on governance models inspired by the concept of Educating Cities and their responses to emerging societal problems, especially from the perspective of consolidating democracies."
