Seminar cycles debate the future of cities
Several in-person and online meetings were held at the end of June, as part of the Thematic Seminar Cycles promoted by FACED (Faculty of Education, Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul), a founding member of the UNESCO Chair, the "City that Educates and Transforms".
With the theme "Environmental Sustainability and Climate Change: implications for education", the events were attended by specialists such as Clarice Oliveira, Rualdo Menegat and Jaqueline Moll. Held in a hybrid format, the seminars promoted a debate on how cities can adapt to environmental challenges, highlighting education as a central pillar in urban transformation.
The partnership with FACED reinforced the commitment to the right to education and the importance of the connection between urban movements and citizenship.
