Summary
Music, as a cultural expression and social practice, plays a fundamental role in identity construction, the strengthening of social bonds, and the promotion of social inclusion. This study aims to analyze the role that musical projects can play in the social transformation and change of families, institutions, and local communities. The research is based on a mixed-methods (quali-quantitative) approach, supported by a literature review and the analysis of experiences within community musical projects. The results indicate that such projects significantly contribute to human development, social cohesion, the prevention of risky behaviors, and the strengthening of family and institutional relationships. It is concluded that musical projects constitute important tools for social and educational intervention, capable of generating positive and lasting impacts on the communities where they are implemented.
