Issue No. 47 of the Memória Alentejana Journal was officially launched on April 17 at the António Rodrigues Anastácia Auditorium and published by the Alentejo Center for Documentary Studies—Collective Memory and Citizenship (CEDA).

As a partner of CEDA, ISEC Lisboa is joining in this moment with an article by Ana Pereira Neto, a researcher in Working Group No. 2 of the UNESCO Chair – Territoriality, Identity, and Citizenship.

In this issue, the professor and researcher contributed the article “Alentejo in Musical Creation,” which explores the soundscapes and imagery of two musical themes related to the Alentejo region: “Variations on an Alentejo Theme, Op. 18,” for orchestra, by Joly Braga Santos, and “É tão grande o Alentejo” from the popular songbook. The article can be found on pages 78 and 79.
