ISEC Lisboa Hosts International Delegation from STUDIES - DIG Project

On July 17, 2025, ISEC Lisboa welcomed an international delegation of researchers from the STUDIES - DIG project, a research initiative by CIES/ISCTE that brings together experts from Portugal, Bulgaria, Turkey, and Morocco. The main objective of the visit was to gain a detailed understanding of the work developed by the UNESCO Unitwin Network "The City that Educates and Transforms", led by ISEC Lisboa, across its various dimensions: research, dissemination, training, and internationalization.

During the working session, representing ISEC Lisboa were Isabel Baltazar, Scientific Coordinator of the Network; Rui Fonseca, Executive Coordinator of the Network, representing the President of ISEC Lisboa; Ana Paula Oliveira, Director of Research, Development, and Innovation; Patrícia Pacheco, Director of Internationalization; and Elizete Jardim, Researcher and Lecturer. The international delegation included David Ferraz (ISCTE), Zornica Mladenova and Ventsislava Stoyanova (UNWE, Bulgaria), and Murat Savas (NOVARGE, Turkey).

The meeting facilitated the sharing of experiences, the presentation of ongoing work, and discussions about potential future collaborations, both specifically with the Unitwin Network and more broadly with ISEC Lisboa.

This visit reinforces the active role of ISEC Lisboa and the UNESCO Chair "The City that Educates and Transforms" within the academic and social context.
