ISEC Lisboa, an institutional partner of the congress, was represented by professors Ana Oliveira, Madalena Corte-Real, and Elizete Jardim, who, with this participation, reinforced the institution's commitment to research and development of solutions for the valorization and sustainability of territories, strengthening the link between academia and local communities.
Professor Elizete Jardim participated as a speaker in the panel "The Future of Territory Development," where she presented the results of her work within the scope of the Research & Development project "LEADER Approach - Governance Models and their Impact on Territories." This project, funded by Universitas/ISEC Lisboa, is aligned with the UNESCO Chair "The Educating and Transforming City" and integrates Working Group 4 (GT4).
The panel was moderated by André Telheiro Santos, President of the Cinfães Business Association, and also included the participation of Fernando Seara, University Professor, Pedro Costa, Television Commentator, and Rui Vilar Gomes, former PSD Deputy, who contributed enriching interventions on innovative strategies for territorial development.
During their stay in Cinfães, the researchers also had the opportunity to explore the territory and engage in dialogue with various local stakeholders, with the aim of deepening their understanding of the impact of different entities on regional development.
