PRAGAL Well-Being Project: Memory, Identity and Change with the UNESCO UniTwin Network's seal of approval

ISEC Lisboa, in collaboration with the institutions Almada Mundo [International Association for Education, Training and Innovation; the Center for Documentary Studies of Alentejo, Memory and Citizenship (CEDA); and the Humanities Center of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities of the Universidade Nova de Lisboa (CHAM/FCSH)], has launched the project " PRAGAL Well-being - Memory, Identity and Change", under the banner of the UNESCO UniTwin Network "The City that Educates and Transforms".

The initiative, led by professors and researchers Ana Pereira Neto, Ana Runa and Madalena Corte-Real from ISEC Lisboa, seeks to preserve local memory and promote well-being and social cohesion in the community. Community participation is essential to the project's success, involving interviews with residents, shopkeepers and local associations, to gather opinions about the territory and their experiences.

The aim of the project is to investigate the economic, social and cultural transformations of Pragal over the centuries.
