Education in the City: Educating and Transforming Territories was the motto for the 2024 Education Days, which took place online from March 5 to 6. Around 300 people took part in the Education Days, which were watched via the Zoom platform and YouTube channel.

Jointly organized by the UAb Local Learning Centres in Coruche, Montijo and Grândola, DEED and the Unitwin Network / UNESCO Chair “City that Educates and Transforms”, this event was attended by Domingos Caeiro, vice- dean of the Open University (UAb) for Interaction with Society, Cláudia Neves, director of the Department of Education and Distance Learning (DEED), Ana Patrícia Almeida, professor and UAb representative in the Unitwin UNESCO Network – City that Educates and Transforms.

These Education Days were graced with the presence of several members of the UNITWIN UNESCO Network, Prof. Márcio Tascheto (UFN), Prof. Levindo Carvalho (UFMG) and Prof. Paulo Louro (IP9) and on the 29th day with Professor Natacha Costa, from Cidade Escola Aprendiz.
