Silvano Alves Alcantara, a PhD professor at the UNITER University Center and a founding member of the UNESCO Chair "The City that Educates and Transforms", organized an initiative with the participation of private elementary school students in Curitiba.

The initiative took place over several days and involved students taking part in simulations of professions that are directly linked to cities and active involvement in society. Consumers, governors, presidents, tax auditors, bank managers and supermarket employees were some of the professions practiced by the students, with the aim of conveying the values of democracy and the role of education in shaping future citizens.
