Professor Paulo Louro attends working sessions at institutions in Brazil

As part of the UNESCO Chair "The City that Educates and Transforms", Professor Paulo Louro, who teaches at the Nova Esperança Polytechnic Institute (|P9) in Guinea-Bissau, traveled to the state of Rio Grande do Sul for a series of working sessions with institutions which are part of the UNESCO Chair.

On November 6 and 10, he attended the UFRGS session at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, in Porto Alegre, on the theme University and Community in Connection. On November 7, Professor Paulo Louro took part in a session at the Franciscan University of Santa Maria, as part of the Architecture and Urbanism course and the Master's in Humanities and Languages Teaching, under the theme "Mapping Presences: we all educate and transform ourselves". The professor also attended a session of the Postgraduate course in Education at Unisinos University.

During his visit, he met with the Deans of UFRGS and UFSM and with professors involved in the Chair. The meetings with the Deans and professors made it possible to analyze areas for future joint work to achieve the Chair's objectives.
