From November 27 to 29, 2024, the Federal University of Bahia - Faculty of Education (UFBA), in Salvador, will host the second seminar “Cities that Educate Transform” as part of the UNESCO Chair - The City that Educates and Transforms, led by ISEC Lisboa.

In online and in-person format, the seminar will include researchers from the UNITWIN network in Brazil, Portugal and Cape Verde with the aim of debating subjects related to the educational territory, such as the arts, history, architecture, childhood, youth and comprehensive education.

The event is also part of the Continued Training activities of the Full-Time School Program in the Northeast, run by UFBA.

The Director of ISEC Lisboa's School of Education and Human Development, Professor Rui Fonseca, will be the moderator of table 1, the opening panel titled “Contributions of the Unitwin Network to the construction of a City that Educates and Transforms”.
