Moderated by Madalena Corte-Real, this seminar invites participants to reflect on the city as a plural space, shaped by the diversity of its inhabitants’ experiences, identities and needs. Drawing on the book Espaço Plural: Biocultural Reflections on City and Society, which brings together around 50 authors from different regions of Brazil, academic disciplines and theoretical perspectives, the session focuses on the lived experiences of children, young people and older adults in urban contexts.
