The participation of Dr Helena Gil da Costa in this IP Leiria seminar represents a significant added value for transdisciplinary reflection on Creativity. With a solid academic background in Human and Social Sciences (Education) and a specialisation in Total Applied Creativity, the speaker brings a well-founded perspective that articulates theory, research and practice. Her experience as a lecturer at the Faculty of Education and Psychology of the Portuguese Catholic University, as well as her collaboration with different areas of knowledge — from Ethics to Theology, from the Arts to Biotechnology — reinforces her ability to promote interdisciplinary and integrative dialogues.

As the representative in Portugal of the Creative Problem Solving Group (Buffalo, USA), Helena Gil da Costa adds an international and methodological dimension to the approach to creativity, which is particularly relevant in the context of the Arts, Creativity and Development and Conflict Management and Labour Mediation courses. Her contribution may help to further develop creative thinking strategies applied to constructive problem solving, mediation and the promotion of collaborative environments, reinforcing the importance of creativity as an essential skill in educational and organisational contexts.
