International Conference: "What City for the Children?"
On October 17, 2023, Urbanólogo and ISEC Lisboa will organize a conference focusing on the theme "What City for the Children?". It will be held at ISEC Lisboa, at Alameda das Linhas de Torres, 179, Lisbon (metro: Quinta das Conchas, Yellow Line | Buses: 43B, 44B, 717, 736 and 796)..
Conference "What City for the Children?" will consist of an action to exchange knowledge with the aim of contributing to a better city, focused on the children, seeing to develop a holistic understanding of the child citizen and the relationship between the child and the city. This conference will feature the participation of several entities and personalities who have stood out for choosing children and the environment as the focus of their work and as a research topic. This conference will address the theme "What City for Children?" from five different perspectives:
- The challenge of playing and exploring the city.
- Green spaces for children in the city.
- Children’s play areas in the city.
- Child safety in the city.
- The school playground.
Presentations will be made in English and Portuguese, without simultaneous translation.
